Sarah-Jane Redmond will shortly be appearing on screen in The Entrance, an original horror film based on true events which was filmed last year and directed by Damon Vignale. An atmospheric official website has been launched where you can view images, background information and get the opportunity to watch Sarah-Jane in action via the movie's official trailer. Actress Sarah-Jane believes fans of Chris Carter's Millennium will love the imagery, background and atmosphere of The Entrance.

Sarah-Jane is thrilled to have been nominated for Best Actress at the Tribecca New York horror film festival which opens on October 18th. The Entrance will have an advanced screening as part of the Tribecca 2006 Horror Festival on Sunday October 22nd at 3PM.

The Entrance

A police detective is swept into a web of deception and, in search of the truth, finds herself in a contest with forces of the occult.

In the early 1600's, renowned exorcist Father Sebastien Michaelis wrote about a possessed nun, one Sister Madeleine, in Aix-en-Provence, France. The demon possessing Madeleine revealed itself as a fallen angel, a punisher of sinners and tempter of the innocent.

Four hundred years later, Ryan James, a street-savvy drug dealer, has escaped from the hands of his kidnappers. Desperate and shaken, he seeks help from the police. Jen Porhowski, a strong-willed and dedicated detective, skeptically tries to separate fact from fiction in Ryan's account of the night's horrifying events. As the two are drawn further into the case, a greater truth unravels, drawing attention to those writings from centuries ago. In an effort to save lives, Porhowski soon finds that the life at stake is her own.
