Fans of actress Sarah-Jane Redmond will be once again able to enjoy her performance on the 'silver screen' as The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants receives its premiere Hollywood screening on 31st May 2005. Following up will be release dates of June 1st for the USA, June 23rd for Australia and a UK release on July 8th.
Based on the young adult book The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Anne Brashares, four best friends spend their first summer apart from one another opting to share a magical pair of jeans. Despite being of various shapes and sizes, each one of them fits perfectly into the pants. To keep in touch they pass these pants to each other as well as the adventures they are going through while apart. The film stars Amber Tamblyn as Tibby (Sarah-Jane plays her Mother), America Ferrera as Carmen, Blake Lively as Bridget and Alexis Bledel as Lena.
